Itinerary and Workshop Highlights
May 22~25: Corinna (Tarkine). Depart Launceston at 11:00 on May 22.
We will have three nights at Corinna to explore the rainforest trails in this spectacular Tasmanian wilderness area. Autumn is a magical time in the rainforest as fungi of all colours come to life and the forest glistens in the cool and wet weather. Activities will include: cruise on the Pieman River in the Huon Pine built vessel, Arcadia II; sunset shoot on the remote west coast; Philosophers Falls – the rainforest surrounding this waterfall is simply superb. We will spend a leisurely couple of hours on this short trail.
May 25~28: St Helens (Bay of Fires). Return to Launceston around midday May 28.
During our three nights in the Bay of Fires, sunrises and sunsets will be our priority. Sunrise and sunset times are not unreasonable at this time of the year, so we will still fit in a good nights sleep! During the day there is no shortage of activities and locations, and we will shoot many iconic scenes including the Picnic Rocks, Mt William national park and other spots in this iconic region.
