Art for takayna exhibition

Each year the Bob Brown Foundation runs the Art for takayna exhibition, which is a fundraiser for its efforts to conserve the Tarkine (takayna) region for future generations. The region is rich in aboriginal cultural heritage and contains a stunning array of landscapes.

The coast is full of incredible rock formations ranging from smooth and round granite boulders to razor sharp shards of rock. The coastal vegetation is stunning too, containing weather beaten tea-trees and eucalypts, and a stunning array of orchids.

As you leave the coast you reach buttongrass plains, criss-crossed with the massive rainforest flanked rivers that the region is particularly famous for.

Thank you for your generosity

I contributed all these images as framed pieces, and a number of smaller matted prints, and want to thank everyone who visited the exhibition and made a purchase.

I am proud to say my images raised over $2000 for the cause so thanks everyone for your generosity!
