Wineglass Bay and Freycinet Photography Tour: June 5-7, 2018

Two Nights at the Freycinet Lodge

This new tour will run in the same format as my Cradle Mountain and Bay of Fires trips, in that each participant will enjoy their own private room – this time in the luxurious Freycinet Lodge!

Night Sky Photography

In addition, the dates have been selected to coincide with dark skies (no moon) so that we can attempt night sky photography, with fingers crossed of course for an appearance of the southern lights.

The aurora over the Hazards, captured in March 2013 – during one of my photography workshops in fact – it has happened before, will it happen again?

Wineglass Bay Cruise

We will also be boarding the Wineglass Bay Cruise where coastal scenery and marine wildlife is the highlight. June is a great time of year to see whales off the Tasmanian coast so we will keep a special eye out for these majestic creatures too.

The Wineglass Bay Cruise is a special opportunity to capture wildlife including whales on their annual migration along the Tasmanian coast
