What to expect
This highly personalised photography tour includes a waterfall shoot on Mt Wellington, followed by a sunset shoot on Hobart’s Eastern Shore.
Designed for beginner to intermediate photographers and great for first time visitors to Hobart, we will discuss exposure settings; ISO; depth of field; filters and all the important tips and techniques required to master your camera.

Itinerary
Start Time: 3 hours prior to sunset Exact time to be advised on booking
Guided Shoot #1: Waterfalls on kunanyi / Mt Wellington (90 minutes) Start with a short discussion on camera settings and theory followed by a waterfall shoot in the foothills of Mt Wellington. Learn how to achieve the beautiful silky flow effect which makes waterfall photos so striking!
Guided Shoot #2: Sunset from Hobart’s eastern shore (90 minutes) After a short drive to the eastern shore (around 20 minutes) we will talk about composition, exposure settings and filters, and shoot sunset and early twilight as the city lights sparkle into life. Test out your newly acquired knowledge of manual settings and long exposure!
Return transfer to your hotel around 30-45 minutes after sunset
- Camera & Tripod. Spare & fully charged batteries.
- Any camera accessories you like to use such as polarisers and neutral density filters.
- Sturdy footwear, and weather appropriate clothing.
