Russell Falls – Tragedy Strikes!

Tragedy has struck at Russell Falls – a couple of Sassafras trees have fallen right across the front of the viewing platform, meaning budding photographers are going to have to walk that extra little bit further to get nice waterfall shots up at Horseshoe Falls… The falls are full and fast flowing right now, so it is a great time to visit Tassie’s forests & waterfalls.

UPDATE: All clear – the trees have been cleared away and Russell Falls is as spectacular as ever.

Photography Tours to Russell Falls

I run a full day photography tour to Mt Field and the nearby Styx Valley where we discuss how to master your DSLR and take greater control of your own image taking. The tour runs all year round, on demand. I will run the workshop for a minimum of 2 participants so you are guaranteed a great deal of personalised tuition.

In addition to the Mt Field/Styx Valley day trip I also run a 2 day photography tour to the East Coast (Freycinet National Park) and a 3 day photography tour to Cradle Mountain.

Click on “Workshops” in the menu above for details on all my photography tours and workshops.
