“Solitude” – Landscapes & Wilderness of North West Tasmania
Announcing: “Solitude” – Landscapes & Wilderness of North West Tasmania
An exhibition by Luke O’Brien
Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition Centre, as part of the annual Spring Tulip Festival.
Runs from September 15 to October 31, 2015
I am very excited to announce an exhibition of images of North West Tasmania – including the exquisite Tarkine rainforest and the stunning Cradle Mountain area, as well as a few from a little further afield. In addition one part of the room will be home to some of my Aurora Australis photos captured all over Tasmania during the past few years.
The exhibition is a collection of images celebrating the unique environment of Tasmania:
…from the tiny fungi to the grand old myrtles of the rainforest to the hardy fagus growing in the extreme environment of Tasmania’s alpine area…
…from exquisite cascades of water over fern fringed waterfalls to the rough and salty sea spray of the long and lonely west coast…
…from the dancing lights of the southern aurora to the light of the far away stars at the centre of our Milky Way Galaxy…
The exhibition runs until October 31 at the Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition Centre, 8 Exhibition Link in Wynyard, Tasmania.
