Some tours may show a “Call to Book” option or something similar. This usually means the tour date is close and I have had to start finalising rooms with the hotel. Tarkine – autumn fungi, river cruises and west coast sunsets: ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT! May 6 ~ 11, 2024; $3650 per person 3 nights at Corinna followed by 2 nights at Tall Timbers in Smithton, this is the “Complete” Tarkine photography workshop. Arthur & Pieman River cruises included as well as rainforest shoots at Corinna, Philosopher Falls and along the Tarkine Drive. Sunset shoots on the wild and remote west coast near Arthur River. Single/private room for all guests.

Mt Field Fagus & Fungi: May 1 ~ 3 fully booked NEW DATES May 14 ~ 16. $1795 per person. Autumn special! The “Turning of the Fagus” is a unique phenomenon and extremely photogenic as are the tiny fungi that pop up all over the forest at this time of year. Based at the Brand new Mt Field Retreat we will also explore the nearby forests such as the Styx Valley and grab some mountain vistas in the South West National Park.

Freycinet Astrophotography: 4 days, June 4 ~ 7, 2024; $2695 per person Timed for new moon, during the longest nights of the year, this special edition workshop will feature night sky shoots as well as seascape sunrises and sunsets all around Freycinet National Park, as well as a special half day cruise to Wineglass Bay.

Arthur River & Tarkine Coast: 5 days, September 25 ~ 29, 2024; $2495 per person Brand new tour, based right in Arthur River township for easy access to the coast for sunsets which we will shoot each of our 4 nights away. Also includes a day exploring the Tarkine Forest Drive and the Arthur River Cruise.

Tasman Peninsula: NEW TOUR! October 1 ~ 3, 2024; $2200 per person Brand new tour, based at Eaglehawk Neck for sunrise and night shoots at the Tessellated Pavement! Includes half day Tasman Island cruise and an extra small group environment – maximum 4 guests.

Bay of Fires: 4 days, October 23 ~ 26, 2024; $2495 per person Seascape sunrises, sunsets and night sky sessions. Morning Cruise along the Bay of Fires coastline. Half day shoot in the rainforest at St Columba Falls.

Bruny Island:  3 days, new dates TBA shortly. Brand new tour on Bruny Island shooting seascape sunrises and sunsets and fingers crossed the nights are clear for astro photography too (tour is timed for new moon ie dark skies). Based at Hotel Bruny, we will visit the Neck, Adventure Bay, the lighthouse and more!

Private 3 day tours: South West / Tasman Peninsula / Bay of Fires / Cradle Mountain / Freycinet / Strahan and more; private tour for 1 or 2 pax. Available on demand all year round. Click here for the details.

Mt Field & Styx Valley: ** Runs on demand ** $275 per person. Full day trip shooting waterfalls, rainforest and the tallest flowering trees on earth. Includes: transport (departing Hobart); National Parks entry; tuition/guide. Lunch is either BYO or available to purchase.

Hobart & Surrounds: ** Runs on demand ** $160 per person. Private or small group, 3+ hour workshop. Waterfall shoot on Mt Wellington, followed by an eastern shore sunset. Self drive.
