Binalong Bay Sunset Shoot

Here are some shots of a Binalong Bay sunset from not too long ago. As with a lot of shoots it is not necessarily the actual sunset itself, but the colour that is thrown up in all parts of the sky that makes these shoots so enjoyable. The sunset itself this evening was not a particularly great show but the colours in the north-eastern sky really were quite special.

Really nice pink on the eastern horizon, Binalong Bay

There is a nice rocky outcrop at the Binalong Bay/town end of the beach which is a great vantage point. The beach stretches away right in front of you and you have a wide open sky so you can cross your fingers and hope for a nice sunset display.

The pinks got more intense as the twilight progressed.

Dusk silhouettes of the Bay of Fires hinterland

The stones on the foreshore at dusk. Just a little light and colour left at this point, but all in all a really nice Binalong Bay sunset session 🙂

I was reminded of this shoot as I am preparing to head up to the Bay of Fires again in a couple of weeks. We will do quite a few shoots in the Binalong Bay area as well as venturing up and down the coast a little, to the Picnic Rocks and other stunning areas. If you are interested in joining me on a trip to the Bay of Fires, keep an eye on this page, I will be announcing new dates shortly!
