10 days on the Island – Photography Workshop

Michael Snedic, of WildNature Photo Expeditions, and I are gearing up for our very own photographic “10 Days on the Island”, a 10 day workshop that covers most of the state!

10 day Tasmanian Photography Workshop – May 22-31, 2017

Running from May 22-31, the trip includes 3 nights on the east coast at Bicheno, 3 nights at Cradle Mountain and a further 3 nights at Corinna in the Tarkine. We will be shooting sunrises and sunsets in some truly beautiful locations, as well as stunning waterfalls and rainforest, and cruises to Wineglass Bay and along the Pieman River. We will also visit the Devils@Cradle park at Cradle Mountain to shoot Tasmania’s iconic Tasmanian Devil and the quolls.

In addition, we will stop at the beautiful Russell Falls and Nelson Falls on the first and last day as we move to and from Hobart.

Our photographic 10 days on the island trip includes the famous view to Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park

Cost: $5250 per person

Includes all accommodation (twin share); all meals; all entry/cruise fees; transport for the duration of the trip and of course tuition.

Accommodation: Beachfront at Bicheno (May 22, 23, 24); Cradle Mountain Hotel (May 25, 26, 27); Corinna (May 28, 29, 30)

Itinerary:

May 22: Depart Hobart. Half day session at Mt Field before heading to Bicheno for 3 nights where we will explore the Freycinet coast, and join the Wineglass Bay Cruise.

May 25: Depart Freycinet for 3 nights at Cradle Mountain.

May 28: Depart Cradle Mountain for 3 nights in the secluded resort of Corinna in Tasmania’s wild Tarkine.

May 31: Return to Hobart via Nelson Falls and Lake St Clair.
