Tasmanian Photographic Workshops November 15~21 2013
Brisbane-based wildlife & nature photographer Michael Snedic & I will be running one of our Tasmanian photographic workshops – the “Tasmanian Experience” – showcasing Tasmania’s greatest landscapes to a maximum of 10 participants from November 15 ~ 21, 2013. Places are still available but please contact me to register interest and book your place as soon as possible.
Participants need to make their own way to Launceston for a 1:00pm departure on Friday November 15th. We will then travel to Cradle Mountain for a 3 night stay in arguably Tasmania’s most iconic location for landscape photography. We will shoot sunrises and sunsets, as well as waterfalls, rainforest and wildlife.
We will then transfer to the sparkling Freycinet Coast for a two night stay at the Freycinet Lodge in the heart of the Freycinet National Park. It is quite a long drive so we will break up the day by shooting & having lunch at the beautiful Liffey Falls on the way. Our two night stay at Freycinet will include a sunrise and sunset shoot, as well as a half day cruise to Wineglass Bay where you can soak up the scenery and take the opportunity to photograph marine wildlife such as dolphins, seals and sea eagles.
We then return to Hobart and will wrap up the workshop with a morning shoot on the busy waterfront in Hobart, with fishing boats, restaurants and Mt Wellington as a backdrop. After an informal late breakfast “show & tell” of your images from the week, the workshop will be complete around mid-morning on Thursday November 21st and you are free to stay on in Tasmania or return home.
Full details on this workshop are available on the “Tasmanian Experience” Photography Workshop page.
