In the lead up to Christmas and the end of 2025 – I thought I’d share a series of 12 photographic images and experiences that really resonated with me over the year.

Wherever you are in the world, I hope 2025 has been good to you. For me personally, my wife Midori and I have clocked up a couple of big milestones including 50th birthdays and a 20th wedding anniversary, and the year has been full of wonderful experiences and memories.

Landscape photography really is such a joy. There are so many great many natural wonders and experiences in our world – getting out and enjoying them should be on everyone’s list of new years resolutions 🙂

2025 “best” 12

The scenic highlights this year have included an amazing adventure through South America, Midori and I running our first ever photography tour in Japan, and multiple small group tours around Tasmania to places like the Tarkine, Mt Field and the Bay of Fires.

I’d like to send a heart felt thank you to everyone who has joined one of my trips this year – and in past years too for that matter – it is a joy sharing the wonder of nature through photography with you all 🙂
