Art for takayna 2022 Hobart Tasmamia

Art for Takayna 2022

EDIT: There will be a closing night event on Saturday night (May 7) with a concert from 6:00pm! Hope to see you there 🙂

Art for takayna 2022 is now open at the Long Gallery in Hobart’s Salamanca Arts Centre. The exhibition runs until May 8 and I have contributed the four images below.

The exhibition is designed to raise awareness (and funds!) for the Bob Brown Foundation’s ongoing and urgent campaign to protect takayna/Tarkine from numerous threats such as a new tailings dam for an existing mine near Tullah; and brand new mines across Mt Linday & Parsons Hood, which are all areas of untouched rainforest and simply must be left intact.

If you are in Hobart make sure to visit the exhibition and make a purchase if you can. If you can’t make it to Hobart and would like to purchase one of my prints, contact me, and I’ll donate the proceeds on your behalf.
