Tarkine Photography Tour May 2-6 2015
Michael Snedic and I are very excited to launch our brand new 5 day Tarkine photography tour. The workshop is running from May 2-6 2015 and all the details on this workshop are available here.
May is a wonderful time to explore the ancient Gondwanic rainforests of Tasmania. Over the course of the workshop, we will see some incredible tall trees, the highlight being the fantastic myrtle beech (Nothofagus cuninghamii) which dominates much of the Tarkine rainforest.
We chose May also as it is peak season on the forest floor – as a myriad of tiny, intricate fungi appear. Click here to see some shots of last years fungi in the Tarkine to whet your appetite for what to expect!
Other highlights include waterfalls, a river cruise on the Pieman aboard the Huon Pine boat “Arcadia II and a sunset shoot on Tasmania’s rugged west coast.
We will be based in Corinna for the 4 nights, meaning we can maximise our time in the field shooting, learning and simply soaking up the sights.
