I am still amazed by the light show from October 7-8 2015. I have put together the following timelapse, which is basically a sequence of images covering almost all of the activity from late on October 7 and going right through to around 3:00am on the morning of October 8.

The timelapse consists of close to 700 photos, taken on interval shooting mode at one 15 second exposure every 18 seconds. It was a cloudless and moonless night, so sitting behind my camera and tripod I could easily watch the aurora perform its merry dance, while enjoying the colour and finer details which flashed up on my camera after each exposure.
