Hobart’s annual Red Bridge Festival (aka Dark Mofo) is back for 2023! And this year that giant blue light thingy has picked itself up and moved down the river from its spiritual home at MONA to the Dark Park on Hobart’s waterfront.

Hobart Night Photography Workshops

I run a regular photography workshop called Hobart & Surrounds which usually includes a late afternoon waterfall shoot on kunanyi/Mt Wellington followed by sunset from Bellerive. Last week I was able to tailor it into a night photography workshop which included the Tasman Bridge in all it’s Dark Mofo finery, with the Spectra light too. As the night was so clear, we took the opportunity to add in a shoot of the Milky Way rising over Seven Mile Beach!
