Hobart and Surrounds Photography Workshop
The Hobart and Surrounds photography workshop is a half day workshop which covers two of the most visually rewarding aspects of landscape photography. We start the afternoon exploring a couple of waterfalls in the foothills of Mt Wellington only a short drive from central Hobart. During this session you will be encouraged to use manual settings of your DSLR camera and gain a greater understanding of controlling things like aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
After a couple of hours surrounded by the cool greenery of the waterfalls, we will head through Hobart and over to the Eastern Shore where we will prepare for a sunset shoot as the city lights twinkle to life against the imposing silhouette of Mt Wellington. During this session we will discuss accessories (including filters) which assist with sunset photography. We will talk about the relationship between aperture and shutter speed and all the features of modern DSLRs that are there to assist you to improve your photographic skills.
