Myrtle Forest Falls near Collinsvale

Myrtle Forest Falls is near Collinsvale, around 30 mins from Hobart. It is a fall I have been meaning to get to for quite a long time, and took the opportunity a few weeks ago as there had been plenty of rain and it was a nice overcast day – great for visiting waterfalls 🙂

There is a sign greeting visitors advising of track damage, but plenty of people seem to still be doing the walk. The water was very high on the day I visited but it was passable with a little bit of care.

The walk in takes around 20-30 minutes depending on your walking pace. The falls are really quite nice, and if anything there might have been too much water for this visit, which restricted my angles a little bit. Good to have added a new waterfall to my list though 🙂
